ASKOS is the name of our project of rediscovery and selection of ancient Apulian grape varieties that are almost disappearing. Wines are produced by using exclusively these indigenous varietals, cultivated in their most suitable terroirs according the traditional method. We have chosen a Greek “Askos” (=Decanter) as a symbol of the wine making, a practice that in Puglia was started by the ancient Greeks.
Ruby red with purplish shimmer, on the nose it presents a distinct red berries aroma, from raspberry, sour cherry, to blackcurrant, followed by liquorices, rhubarb and rawhide leather. On the mouth it tastes soft with a good fatness, very elegant and well balanced by a tannins party. The long finish on the palate shows a touch of acidity and a great freshness.

Descriptions: Founded only recently in 2004 Biancavigna is a high quality small prosecco producer run by brother and sister Enrico and Elena Mochetta. This cuvee is from the superior DOCG zone for Prosecco - where it all began. Rich and fruit filled with a creamy mouthfeel and lingering aftertaste it's easy to see that this is a cut above.
Tasting Notes: Very typical and elegant with distinctive fruity notes that remind of apple and white fruit. On the palate is creamy, with a vivacious and fruity aftertaste. Delicate mineral taste on the finish and good persistency.
Prosecco DOC Treviso Extra Dry 2017 Ville d'Arfanta
The style of the bottle is elegant and refined, perfect for unique moments and special occasions. The wine pours a bright straw yellow colour, with some greenish hints, the nose is pleasant, amiable exalts the Golden apple and citrus fruit tinges. It has a fresh flavour, and to the palate the wine is pleasant and harmonious.
An ideal aperitif wine, goes well with appetizers, white meats and fish.
Chianti Colli Senesi DOCG Riserva 2013 Poggio Del Moro
This wine presents an intense and lively red color with garnet nuances; the fragrance has delicate hints of purple flower and red cherry it has a medium body and a long and elegant aftertaste.

Barbera d'Asti Superiore DOCG "Costiliolae" 2013/14 Bo Massimo
This wine is produced with 100% Barbera grapes, coming entirely from the vines belonging to the winery. It has a garnet-red colour with reflections ranging from purple to amaranth, and before bottling, is aged in small oak barrels, barrique and tonneau, for up to twelve-thirteen months. At the nose and on the palate strong aromas of cherry jam, blackberry and tobacco. Serve between fifteen and thirty minutes before opening the bottle.

Vinification: Basically late harvest with a long maceration on the skins in stainless steel vats thermo-regulated. Aging: In small oak barrels for about 12 months, where you completed malolactic fermentation. Bottle aging for a medium to long term.

Chianti DOCG 2016/17 Cosimo Maria Masini
This wine is the result of an attentive selection of grapes coming from vineyard exposed to south-east. Completely natural vinification in cement tanks on exclusively indigenous yeasts. The grapes are gently fermented on their skins for about 20 days. After having been racked, matures and integrates its flavours in oak and cement tanks for about 6 months. On the nose, it expresses delicate fragrances of violets and roses. On the palate flavours of ripe cherries, full and fresh with pleasing tannins that are present but not invasive.

The color is an intense ruby red with fresh living fragrances, pleasantly fruity in flavor; this wine is warm and robust, full-bodied, pleasurable and harmonious.

The olive growing areas of the estate are arranged in promiscuous plantations, in compliance with the traditional agricultural style and characteristic of the historic Tuscan estates.
The olive trees of the following varieties Leccino, Moraiolo, Pendolino and Frantoio, are not planted next to each other in specialized installations but they grow in alternating rows of fields or vineyards.
The total number of olive trees on the estate is about 8,000 of which 2,000 plants serve a purely landscape and soil conservation use, being present in soils that are difficult to cultivate.
